Our heart is the wellspring of life—it affects everything we think, say, and do. What’s in our heart shapes how we see the world, how we treat others, and how we handle life’s challenges.
That’s why Proverbs 4:23 reminds us:
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
A healthy heart produces kindness, love, and wisdom. But a heart filled with negativity can lead to confusion, worry, and even bitterness.
To guard our hearts, we must be mindful of what we allow in—through what we watch, listen to, and dwell on. Fill your heart with God’s Word, prayer, and things that bring peace. When our hearts are full of what is good, our lives will shine with light, peace, and love.
Let us guard our hearts diligently, for from it flows the direction of our lives. If we entrust our hearts to God daily, He will guide us to live with wisdom, love, and alignment with His will.
