Russell C. Brennan
Russell C. Brennan is a unique multi-platform artist and the world’s only male Geisha. He has released 18 books spanning fiction and non-fiction, and produced over 500 music releases-earning a No.1 hit and being dubbed an “indie production God” by national press. As a songwriter, he’s had over 100 releases and recently graced the cover of Songwriter International. He’s performed in multiple bands and plays the rare “punk cello.”
His photography has been featured in several exhibitions, with Saatchi Art recognizing him as an artist of note. An award-winning poet, Brennan is also editor of the influential publication Dedicated Follower, which appeared in a V&A Museum exhibit and is now being developed into a TV series. He founded Future Legend Records, an innovative indie label celebrating 30 years of trend-setting. Formerly a No.1 international DJ and a self-proclaimed adventurer, he’s been called “the best raconteur” by J.K. Rowling’s agent.
His visual work includes 100 pop videos, two music documentaries, and an animated TV show. Currently, he’s directing a documentary on his friend David Bowie and aims to move into feature films. He is also, a savvy entrepreneur with multiple brands, Brennan occasionally consults in the arts and media—if the creative challenge excites him.
