Datuk Dr. Lau Pang Heng holds a PhD in Sociology, specializing in crime prevention, from UNIMAS (2019), an MBA from Durham University in the United Kingdom (1992), and a Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, also in the UK. A distinguished Toastmaster, he served as International President from 2012 to 2013, becoming the first Malaysian to hold this prestigious role, which earned him a place in the Malaysian Book of Records in August 2012.

Dr. Lau is a firm believer in continuous learning, following his philosophy of ""learn, unlearn, and relearn.""

In recognition of his contributions, he was knighted by His Majesty the King of Malaysia, receiving the title Johan Mangku Negara in 2013, and Panglima Jasa Negara, which conferred the honorific title of ""Datuk,"" in June 2014.

He has been honored with numerous communication and leadership awards from the USA, Australia, Asia, and Europe. Additionally, he is a passionate advocate for promoting financial confidence in retirement for all.
