His Grace Father Bishop Daniel of Nikopolis is a spiritual leader who has come a long way in education and ordination. He began his education at the Theological Seminary and continued his studies on theology in South Korea, Greece, and the United States. After completing his education Father Bishop Daniel was ordained as a deacon and later as a priest in the Eastern Orthodox Church in 1987-1988.

Father Bishop Daniel is often invited on many occasions both in interfaith forums and giving lectures at Theological schools or government agencies. For this purpose he has visited more than 40 countries in the world. Father Episkop Daniel is also active in writing books and articles both in Indonesian and English in journals or other magazines.
Along with his service, Father Bishop Daniel continued to increase his dedication to the Church and the people. He was later ordained as a Bishop in Greece on July 21, 2023, a position that allows him to lead and serve the Church in Jakarta and the rest of Greater East Asia. As an Bishop, His Grace Daniel continues to be dedicated to building and developing the Church, and serving the people with love and wisdom.
