A Dedicated Leader and Community Advocate
Leakhena Ten is a compassionate leader and a devoted advocate for education and spiritual growth in Poipet, Cambodia. As the wife of the pastor at New Life Church Poipet, she has played a vital role in building a strong faith-based community. Since co-founding the church in 2013, she has helped grow the congregation to over 250 members, offering spiritual guidance and support to many.
Beyond her church work, Leakhena is deeply committed to education and women’s empowerment. She leads the New Life School, which provides education to around 700 children, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. Additionally, she teaches evening English classes, equipping students with valuable skills for the future.
Leakhena also mentors women through LandMine Design, a program that empowers women through Bible studies and emotional support. Her dedication to uplifting others has made a profound impact on many lives, offering hope and opportunity to those in need. Through her work in education, ministry, and community outreach, Leakhena Ten continues to be a beacon of light in Poipet, inspiring change and transforming lives
