Stress sources or stressors are actions, situations, or events that place specific demands on a person. Stress sources are also stressors, which are conditions, situations, or events that can cause stress. Factors that can cause stress are called stressors. Stressors are classified into three categories, namely: a) Psychobiological stressor. For example, diseases that are difficult to cure, physical disabilities or the dysfunction of one of the body parts, and body posture that is perceived as not ideal. b) Psychological stressors. For example, suspicion, frustration due to failure to obtain something desired, envy, hostility, jealousy, personal conflicts, and desires beyond one’s means. c) Social stressors. For example, disharmonious relationships among family members, divorce, unemployment, death, job termination, crime, and others.
