Krisna Bayu is an esteemed Indonesian judoka and a relentless advocate for epilepsy awareness, with a remarkable career spanning over 30 years as a national athlete. Having represented Indonesia at three Olympic Games, he has solidified his legacy as a true sports icon. His exceptional skills in judo have earned him gold medals at 13 SEA Games and a prestigious title as a world champion.
In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Bayu is a proud epilepsy survivor who uses his platform to raise awareness and support for those living with the condition. His journey of resilience inspires many, showcasing how determination can conquer adversity.
He also holds significant leadership roles in the sports community as the Vice Chairman of the SAMBO Union of Asia (2020-2025) and a member of the Executive Committee of the National Olympic Committee (2023-2026).
